Collagen Treatments

What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure. It involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. The small wounds cause your body to make more collagen and elastin, which heal your skin and help you look younger. You might also hear it called collagen induction therapy.

Microneedling is less expensive than laser treatments, which can cost about four times as much. Microneedling may work better for people with darker skin tones because it doesn’t involve heat the way laser treatments do, which can affect your skin’s pigmentation or color.

Microneedling Benefits

Microneedling may help with issues like:

  • acne
  • Hair loss (also called alopecia)
  • Dark spots or patches on your skin (hyperpigmentation)
  • Large pores
  • Reduced skin elasticity
  • Scars
  • Stretch Marks
  • Sun damage
  • Fine lines and wrinkles

What is Hydra Pen?

The Hydra Pen is a new device for fractional mesotherapy treatment which rejuvenates your skin from the inside out! It also combines the functions of microdermabrasion and of course, microneedling.

What is the difference between Hydra Pen and microneedling?

Microneedling pen needles are sharp and thin. When used correctly, it penetrates the skin in a straight direction, minimizing the size of the microchannel created. In comparison, both derma rollers and the Hydra Roller enter and leave the skin at an angle, which results in larger microchannels created

Frequently asked questions?

Facials and Chemical Peels

For most skin types, we recommend getting a facial once every 4 to 6 weeks. This aligns with your skin’s natural regeneration cycle. However, if you are targeting specific concerns like acne or pigmentation, your therapist may recommend a series of treatments closer together (e.g., every 2 weeks).

Absolutely. Facials can help strengthen sensitive skin barriers. Please inform us of your sensitivities when booking. We use specific products designed to calm, soothe, and hydrate reactive skin without causing irritation.

While home care is essential, a professional facial provides a deeper level of cleansing and exfoliation using professional-grade active ingredients and technology (such as steam and extractions) that you cannot achieve at home.

It is helpful if you arrive with a clean face, but not required. Your therapist will perform a “double cleanse” to ensure all makeup and sunscreen are removed before the treatment begins.

Before injectables: You can get a facial immediately before your appointment.

After injectables: We recommend waiting 2 weeks after getting Botox or Fillers before having a facial to allow the product to settle.

Yes. Please discontinue Retinol (Vitamin A) and strong acids for 3 to 5 days prior to your appointment to avoid over-exfoliation.

A chemical peel uses skin-safe acids (like Glycolic, Lactic, or Salicylic acid) to exfoliate the skin much deeper than a physical scrub can. It dissolves the “glue” holding dead skin cells together, revealing brighter, smoother, and younger-looking skin underneath.

Not necessarily! It depends on the strength of the peel.

  • Superficial Peels: You might experience “micro-flaking” (invisible to the eye) or dry patches for a few days, but no sheets of skin will fall off. You will just have a glow.
  • Medium/Deep Peels: You will experience visible peeling and shedding for 3–7 days. Your therapist will discuss the expected downtime with you before applying the peel.

You will likely feel a sensation of heat, tingling, or itching while the active ingredients are on your skin. This is normal and means the product is working. We use fans and cooling compresses to keep you comfortable.

No. This is critical. Chemical peels remove the protective outer layer of dead skin, making your fresh skin highly susceptible to burning and pigmentation. You must wear SPF 50 daily and avoid direct sun exposure for at least 7 days after a peel.
